The eStep Foundation Story
The eStep Foundation was started by entrepreneurs, Randy and Meredith Estep. Randy is a natural entrepreneur with new business ideas constantly running through his head. The first business he started at the age of 18 was servicing and installing new aquariums. This was just the start of his entrepreneurial path. Since then, at every opportunity, Randy has been formulating new business ideas and making them a reality.
Randy and Meredith met in 1994 and married in 1996. Shortly thereafter, together they started a computer business out of their home. This computer business helped Randy and Meredith build the relationships that have helped enrich their lives and propelled them to where they are today.
"The best way to predict the future is to create it."
Alan Kay
The Esteps feel that students today should not be focused on where they work or what fancy job title they may hold. They hope their experience is an inspiration for students to forge their own way. In fact, one of Randy's favorite quotes is from inventor and entrepreneur Alan Kay who said, "The best way to predict the future is to create it." To that end, the eStep Foundation hopes to encourage and support local students who are determined to go on and make their own unique set of footprints on the road of success.
